Submit a volunteer project request

Please note: We only accept requests from agencies that are currently partners. To become a Boston Cares Community Partner, please read more about the process here. Submitting a request does not guarantee that your project will be posted to the project calendar.

COVID-19: We are asking volunteers not  to volunteer if they are feeling unwell or have a fever, if they have knowingly been exposed to COVID-19, or if they have been ill/had a fever within the last 14 days.  All projects will provide volutneers with appropriate space for social distancing and protection.

In general, new volunteer project requests from current partners are reviewed on an ongoing basis and based on when projects are submitted, we manually post on our calendar for our volunteers to view and sign-up within 1 to 2 weeks of receiving the request. We ask that you submit volunteer requests a minimum of 4 weeksin advance of the project request date to ensure we have time to post and share your opportunity with Boston Cares volunteers.
