Days of Service

National Days of Service are a great way to get involved with your family and friends! Youth age 5+ and groups of up to 25 are invited to join us on recognized Days of Service, including:

• MLK Day of Service—With 600+ volunteers, Boston Cares runs a MLK Day service event in Boston in partnership with the Mayor of Boston, Boston Public Schools, the Massachusetts Service Alliance, and with the support of corporate partners.


• Family Volunteer Day—Kicking off the Winter holidays, Family Volunteer Day is always the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Boston Cares volunteers of all ages give back by helping other families in need! Past projects have included STEM kits, Literacy Kits, lap desks, and more.
