generationOn SERVICE CLUBS

GenerationOn Service Clubs provide an opportunity for new or existing groups to access materials for developing and engaging in service projects in their local area. Service Clubs are a great way for school groups, youth groups and scout troops to develop their service programming in partnership with Boston Cares. GenerationOn is an enterprise of Points of Light, the parent organization of the Hands On Network, of which Boston Cares is an affiliate. Registration with GenerationOn comes with access to guides for starting and maintaing your club, as well as project ideas and templates. Clubs allow youth to develop leadership skills and engage with their community in an autonomous way. 

Kids Care Clubs are designed for youth ages 12 and under, and are led by an adult over the age of 18. 

Service Clubs engage youth ages 13-17 and are led by youth with support from an adult leader. 

BOSTON CARES SUPPORT

Boston Cares aims to support clubs by providing personal advisement and help in making your club successful. The Youth & Family Coordinator can walk you through the process of club creation and maintenace, project planning, ideas, and connect you with community resources.
